Alexandre Gama is a highly successful businessman in Brazil. He is the advertising and propaganda industry and began his career in 1982 when he was a writer for the advertising agency Standart Ogilvy. In 1990 he joined DM9 and during his four years at this company he won more writing awards than anyone else in the industry.
After working at a few other advertising agencies Alexandre Gama established his own agency in 1999. His agency, named Neogama, has grown into one of the largest ad agencies in Brazil under his leadership and creativity in designing ad campaigns. For a number of years he was also the Chief Executive Creative Officer of BBH which is an international network of ad agencies.
Brazilian music is also a passion of Alexandre Gama’s. He established VIOLAB in 2014 which is a brand that supports and publishes Brazilian instrumental guitar players. VIOLAB is made up of a record label, recording studio, radio show, and a YouTube channel on which the music can be found.
Over the years Alexandre Gama has won many awards for his innovative ad campaigns. He has won multiple Golden Lions at Cannes Festivals over the years as well as awards given out by Brazilian publications.
